MISSION ACCOMPLISHED IN SPAIN

Hello friends, Sorry for the long delay with this update, but as many of you know I have been almost two months in Spain on outreach. here is a video (Spanish)

As I mentioned in other entries, we have been praying for Spain since we went to Romania in 2012, to bring a prophetic message of a Kayros time and a true revival. By faith we included the DTS (Discipleship Training School) in this project, as well as Kings Kids… in spite of the adversities of having no contacts or funds to go and since it was summer in Spain and there were very few people in the churches. But God told us to go this year and we obeyed the voice of the Lord. I went to Spain a little earlier in order to get contacts and the permission for the team’s entry, which was stressful, since many teams have arrived in Spain and because they didn’t have all the permissions needed they were sent back to their countries. We also had minors on our team, which was even more challenging when it came to get the permissions. One day, while I was doing all this paperwork at home, a very special and important person for me came to visit: Alejandro Rodríguez, the National Director of YWAM ARGENTINA!
Alejandro Rodriguez During all of this, I was also able to enjoy spending time with my family after two years of not being all together in one place. I was also able to travel with them to the United States (Denver, Colorado) for a two week holiday.

It was a good opportunity for resting and to strengthen our family bonds. We spent around two weeks in the USA. Afterwards we went back to Spain (it was like the third time I crossed the Atlantic in less than a month!). I was still struggling and trying to find the way to get all the paperwork, permissions and funds achieved. And THEY WERE! GOD DID MIRACLES!! We got the permissions, some members of the team went to the airport by faith, without money, and they got their tickets! So the first part of the team’s stay was in my home and the first to arrive were the Kings Kids:
Two days later we received the rest of the team: the DTS!

Here is the whole team!

We recorded a song that I composed with Elias Mix, another leader of the base: “Como Quisiera” (OH how I Wish I could love you more). And another song that the Kings Kids composed: “Tu Inmenso Amor” (Your Immense Love).
We went to the province of Orense for our first week. It was GREAT: We were able to give, but at the same time we received so much!. We had worship times in the main squares before going out to preach the Gospel.

We painted the children’s faces, we danced Argentinian folklore Dances, we preached to children, young people, teenagers, adults and senior citizens.

Then we went to Gijón, in Asturias! It was also a good time in which we able to share the Gospel and encourage the church.

Afterwards we went to Móstoles, in Madrid! There, God kept surprising us. We shared with a network of Kings Kids about the Window 4/14, did workshops everyday and lead the three Sunday services. It was a very special and powereful time.

I also had the opportunity to preach the Gospel to a street musician. We prayed for him, and then we played music with him and people started giving money as never before… the man said it was a miracle! Here’s the video showing how that went: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=A2_xvZi4k8A I also preached in the Sunday service. And I shared the message that God gave me almost two years ago, and it was a blessing to see God’s working. As I was preaching, a woman’s vocal cords were healed (she had been unable to talk for a month). I am attaching the video even though I am preaching in Spanish just so you can see!! Sorry !!! I hope to be able to translate it into English in the future.

Here’s another video that sums up this whole time with more images:

After the outreach the team returned back to Argentina and I had the opportunity to share in the National Conference of YWAM in Spain. I was able to share a message with the Kings Kids leaders and minister the workers and leaders of YWAM in Spain. God spoke to me in this conference and confirmed a lot of things for me; it was interesting to see that the message that was preached was THE SAME MESSAGE that God revealed to me two years ago for Spain. Thank you God!
YWAM SPAIN - NATIONAL CONFERENCE –September 2013 I returned to Mar de Plata on September 12th, and I have been invited to go to a National Seminary of Emerging Leaders of YWAM Argentina, in Buenos Aires. Prayer items: *Pray of the Seminary of Emerging Leaders, for God to give me a message and impact. *For the new Surf and First Aid DTS that starts in October. *For mi finances, because I arrived in Spain with nothing. *For everything that was invested in Spain, and for God to complete this process so it bears fruit. *For the base, because we are experiencing a lot of robbery in our area. ¨*We don’t have space enough to host the students, and we are looking for something to rent. Just a few words......

Dear family and friends,

I am writing you to be bring you up to date on everything that has been going on recently.  I am going to do this in a “visual” way with photos so you can SEE what I have been doing since my last update.

First of all, I want to let you know that I have recuperated EXCELLENTLY from my recent operation on my collar bone.  Even to the extent that I have played football again!!!  Thank you SOOOOOO MUCH for your prayers and support during that whole experience.
On March 22nd, we had our National YWAM Conference for Argentina, which was an amazing blessing as well as vision inspiring.  Here you can see the YWAM family of 450 members!!

After the Conference we had a special introductory training event for King’s Kids, where we teach new kids about King’s Kids vision and values.  I was teaching about the Heart of God for Missions which isn’t so much focused on statistics but rather in GOD and WHY missions.

For the last few weeks we have been learning Folk Dancing!!!!!  WE are preparing with this, to be able to offer during our outreach in Spain ( or any other out reach places) a typical Argentinean dance!! (**Thank God I don’t have any pictures of this.. hahahah!)
The main “big” news is that the DTS with emphasis in Rescue (Discipleship Training School) started  up in April and we have seven students from Argentina, Chile, Venezuela and Costa Rica.  Here’s a picture!

On the 22nd April we had our Second Summit meeting about 4/14 , which is about evangelizing children and young people between the ages of 4-14.  This is not to be confused with the 10/40 window which has is a geographic location.

During this event where people who do Sunday schools and other types of children/young people’s ministries by offering different types of workshops.  This year we were able to use one of the main theatres of the University Faculty of Law to offer this event.  I was helping to lead worship for the event as well as play percussion for Georgina Moreiro (a King’s Kid who participated and got to one of the higher levels of “THE VOICE” in Argentina)and I also participated in a drama that the King’s Kids did.

Also as many of you know, this year I received a prophetic word about going to Spain together with people from the base, DTS and King’s Kids.  During this  4-14 event, the King’s Kids team were ebig creative about raising funds to go to Spain.

With regards to our trip to Spain, if you know of a church or group that would like to have us during our time there this summer July/August, please let me know.  Also we would appreciate your prayers for this vision to go to Spain for the contacts, for finances etc.

On May 17th there is a possibility that I will be going to Chile with the our base director Daniel Etchart to help preach there.  This will be a big financial challenge as I will need to pay for a visa as well as the bus and plane fares.

Prayer points.

Pray for the DTS that I am helping to lead.
Pray for discernment in both my spiritual and personal life.
The challenge of going to Spain and for God to provide the necessary finances, contacts etc..
The possibility of going to Chile the 18th May.
For the areas of ministry I am involved in : DTS, Alcance Social, King’s Kids, Worship,  and Communications.
And finally for my studies in Graphic design!

Thanks so much for your prayers and support which I appreciate so much.

Here are the details for sending offerings.

GODS  MIRACLES!

Hi, dear family and friends,

As many of you know, it has been quite a challenging time lately, what with the whole issue of having been assaulted with weapons,  breaking my collar bone in three parts, the operation and the recovery. But even though so many things have happened God has been so faithful.

I broke my collar bone on January 14th in the early morning; this all happened during the time when I was leading a camp called Summer of Missions, and there was a big dilemma about where should I be operated: in the public hospital, where it didn’t look possible to get operated on (a time and space issue) , or in the private hospital, which would cost a lot of money.

When I simply communicated what happened to me through the social networks, God provided  ALL the money I needed and even more, so THANK YOU SO MUCH! What’s more, God opened doors to the possibility of me being operated in the Public Hospital in Mar del Plata.

So, praise God, I was operated on February the 4th. It was more painful afterwards than when I broke my collar bone for the first time, because in the operation they had to break it again, clean it, adjust it and finally put the prosthesis with its 9 SCREWS!!!! Here you can see it, before and after the operation:

Befor and after xrays:-

And, with the money left over after buying the prosthesis, (even though I was operated on in the public hospital I still had to pay for the prosthesis) I will be able to pay all the trips to the hospital to do physiotherapy, all the post-operation medicines, a sling that holds my arm and take out a private health insurance policy in case something similar happens in the future.

The whole process of the operation lasted from 10:30 to 16:30. I felt sick after the operation because of the general anaesthetic, the morphine and the drugs they gave me, so I vomited many times during the night and felt quick sick and out of it.. But it was a miracle that they gave me the only single room they had, while the rest of the rooms in the hospital were for 7 or 8 people. And, during the night at the hospital, one of my ywam co-workers was allowed to stay with me in the room.

I already started the physiotherapy and will be going every Wednesday. The physiotherapist has told me that I’m doing so much better than they had anticipated I would be after such an operation.

Another piece of news is that I was going to start university in order to study a degree in Cultural Administration, but I couldn’t for issues of paperwork, and because the registration had been closed the day before.

And my leaders are challenging me to definitely study something in order to grow up and learn to live life beyond the learning of the ministry.

Points for Prayer:

·                This time is being difficult because of many physical and emotional situations; pray that I can let go what comes from the flesh and take what comes from God.
·                In March 22nd, the Argentinean YWAM National Conference will begin. Pray for the finances, and the event, so that all the bases can go.
·                The continued recovery and physiotherapy after the operation.
·                For the DTS that starts on April the 9th; the base we are renting is not big enough for the new staff and the new students that are coming. One of our projects is to buy a hotel so we can have room for all the ministries .
